Snavely was the design / builder for this  4-story wood-framed hotel in North Olmsted, Ohio. 

During the start of construction, unsuitable soils were discovered in the foundation necessitating the removal of 5’ of dirt, drying it out on site in order to arrive at the optimal moisture content, and then re-packing the soil.

 

Amenities include a WXYZ Bar, large “Tactic” patio with a double-sided indoor / outdoor fireplace, indoor pool with a nanawall opening to the courtyard, and large sub-dividable meeting room adjacent to the patio for events.

This hotel was constructed with the flexibility to add a restaurant on site in the future.
